Truck Driver Class A CDL – Belt Trailer, Home Daily
We're hiring a local Class A CDL driver to pull belt trailers on short regional runs. Based in Hayfield, MN, about 15 minutes south of Rochester and an easy commute from Austin, Owatonna, Kasson, Dodge Center, and Albert Lea.

Position Responsibilities
- Operate company-owned and leased trucks over 4 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
- Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup, and relocation of bi-products, final products, and materials.
- Perform a variety of duties, such as hauling, loading, dumping, etc.
- Perform required before-, during- and after-operation “user maintenance” and provide required reports.
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; cleans equipment.
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
- Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
- Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
- May plan route to ensure most economical use of time and equipment.
- Operate conveyors, skid loaders, mowers, compost turners, tractors, floaters, welders, and other equipment and tools to maintain company property and equipment.
- Occasional grounds upkeep, including brush and tree removal.
- Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
- Control traffic at worksites by flagging to guide traffic through work areas, as required or assigned.
- Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.

What You Need
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT medical card
- Clean driving record
- 1 year of driving experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- High school diploma or GED
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud while in the office/shop or the field.

The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds.
